Insomniac Events‘ Dreamstate rapidly emerged as one of the trance community’s most beloved festival brands since its 2015 launch, which was made clear when it expanded to San Fransisco before their flagship SoCal mini-massive had even taken place. Dreamstate San Fransisco shows no signs of slowing down in 2017 as its organizers have announced a full lineup sure to pique the interest of diehard trance enthusiasts.
The announcement was made in five parts over Dreamstate’s social media channels. Artists like Ben Nicky, Ferry Corsten and John O’Callaghan were revealed as headliners over the past several days, with favorites Paul van Dyk, PureNRG and Vini Vici arriving as a grand finale of sorts. In addition, Dutch DJ and producer Ruben de Ronde‘s Dreamstate debut was revealed in the fifth announcement.

The success of the Dreamstate brand has drawn considerable attention to the resurgence of more classic trance subgenres – not the least of which being psytrance, which looks to be something of an it-genre in 2017. In a broader sense, it may speak to the increasingly discerning tastes of electronic music fans belonging to every shade of the stylistic spectrum.
Dreamstate San Fransisco 2017 will take place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium from May 27th-28th, and Insomniac has announced that it will put tickets on sale tomorrow, February 6th. Find the full lineup announcement below:
