Detroit festival Movement has revealed its Phase 2 lineup, and one of the names atop the bill is sure to send shockwaves through the electronic music community. Accompanying Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin as main stage headliners is none other than progressive house mastermind deadmau5 – who will perform under his Testpilot moniker.

Cox had been announced as part of Movement’s Phase 1 lineup announcement in December. Hawtin and deadmau5 were both included in the more recent announcement, and interestingly enough the latter artist had made his debut under the Testpilot project on the former’s Plus 8 imprint back in 2014.

The ‘mau5 is no stranger to techno aside from the one-off release. During numerous performances throughout 2016, for instance, more dark, driving tracks often found their way into his performances.

Seth Troxler, Mind Against and Carl Craig‘s Versus Synthesizer Ensemble are also among the artists that now grace the lineup for Movement 2017, which will take place at Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit from May 27th-29th. Find the full Phase 2 lineup announcement below:
